1. Comparing needs no personal data
Find Your Prices has no accounts and no sign-up. To search and compare prices we do not ask for your name, email, phone number or address.
The only exception is the form in the Partners section, for stores that want to become partners. What is entered there — store name, website, contact name, email and, if provided, phone and message — is used only to answer that request, is not shared with anyone, and can be deleted on request by writing to the contact email.
We do not sell, rent or share visitors' personal information.
2. What is stored in your browser
A few preferences are stored in your own device's local storage so the site remembers you between visits:
- The light or dark theme you picked.
- The products you set aside in the comparison tray.
None of that leaves your browser: it never reaches our servers, we cannot read it, and it disappears if you clear the site's data.
3. Affiliate links
The site shows no advertising. What it does have are affiliate links in the Partners section.
When you tap one, you pass through our server for an instant; it adds one to that partner's click counter — just the number, nothing that identifies you — and sends you on to the partner.
Once on the partner's site, the partner may use cookies or link parameters to know you came from here and pay us the commission. That use is governed by the partner's privacy policy, not by this one.
4. Visit statistics
To know how many people use the site — and to be able to show it to the partners who keep it running — we count visits with our own measurement, with no third-party tools. For each page you open we record:
- Which page it was and when.
- Which site you came from (for example google.com or facebook.com) and, if the link carried them, its campaign parameters (utm).
- Your approximate location — country, region and city — as inferred from the network you connect through. It is not your address or exact location.
- Device type, browser, operating system and screen width.
- A random session number that lives in that tab's storage and is deleted when you close it.
Your IP address is not stored. It is used on the spot to compute an anonymous code that lets us count unique visitors within a month; the code changes every month, cannot be turned back into the IP, and cannot be used to follow anyone from one month to the next.
These figures are only used in aggregate — how many visits, from which countries, on which devices — and in that aggregate form they are shared with current or prospective partners. They are never sold or cross-referenced with other sources. They are deleted after 25 months.
Separately, like any website, the hosting server logs technical request data to operate and protect the service.
5. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
6. Changes and contact
If this changes, this page and the date in its header are updated.
